To correct the bug with LG G4 Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Xposed framework updates. This version does not change, if not its compatibility with the flagship of the Korean manufacturer.
Last November, rovo89 deployed version 78 of its popular Xposed framework, finally compatible with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, followed quickly by version 79 to stabilize the whole. For LG G4 users however, this update was not enough, and installing Xposed causes a reboot loop of the phone (bootloop) making it unusable. To correct the situation, rovo89 now offers a new version of the framework, dedicated to G4 owners.
On its GitHub, rovo89 shared a zip file correcting the main problem and allowing Xposed run on the LG G4 (H815) Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Available on Dropbox, that version 80 can be installed without concern, but has not yet perfect. Indeed, some users on XDA reported that after installing this version, their weather app stops working while visiting the “Hardware Information” menu of settings causes a forced closure of com.android.phone process.
Xposed 10 modules that will change your life
As usual, the file is from flash alternative recovery as TWRP and then requires installing the Xposed Installer application to manage the different modules. However a procedure for experienced users who know what they are doing.
