Xiaomi redmi Note 4: décacore a smartphone with a bigger battery to less than 120 euros

After a few rumors about him last month, the Xiaomi redmi Note 4 has finally been made official. After redmi Note 3 nice, but not excellent, the Chinese brand shows once again its desire to offer great specifications at a low price.

At Xiaomi, the most anticipated smartphone of the moment is undoubtedly the Mi Note 2, which should be presented in September on the sidelines of the IFA. The manufacturer still has more than one string to his bow and has unveiled the redmi Note 4, a technically interesting smartphone in terms of its low price.

Unibody design and fingerprint sensor

For his redmi Note 3, Xiaomi had particularly worked the design to give it a more premium look than usual. His successor continues in the right line with a unibody metal design with beveled edges. This is reminiscent of some models in the range One of HTC. There is also a rear circular fingerprint sensor, as was already the case with its predecessor. On the front, there is a 2.5D screen in which the usual three capacitive keys are located. The whole sports a perfect symmetry along the vertical axis.

10 hearts and a big battery

Apart from its Full HD panel 5.5 inches, the redmi Note 4 has a Helio X20 processor, the décacore MediaTek introduced last year and which is found for example on the Meizu MX6. In his memory, it takes about 2 GB of RAM for the entry-level model and 3 GB for the more advanced. Its most interesting technical feature remains its battery, which with 4100 mAh should provide many hours of autonomy in view of the rest of its technical characteristics.

Finally, he proposed the 4G category 6 (up to 300 Mbps, but supposedly still without 800 MHz), a storage space of 16 or 64 GB expandable by microSD and cameras of 5 megapixels on the front and 13 Megapixels (f / 2.0) at the rear.

An affordable price

The Xiaomi redmi Note 4 comes in three different colors (silver, gold and dark gray) at a price of 899 yuan in version 2 GB / 16 GB, equivalent to 119 euros, or 1,199 yuan to 3 GB / 64 GB or 159 euros. These prices are indicative and should still be slightly higher for importers.
