Xiaomi Mi Watch: Chinese smartwatch have great autonomy

Having recently unveiled its Mid Band 2, Xiaomi should continue in the field of objects connected by offering a smartwatch by the end of the year. We learned today that this could offer great autonomy.

Mock-up unrepresentative

Jiutang Pan, a Chinese analyst says that Xiaomi is set to unveil its first shows connected “soon”. This announcement is somewhat surprising given that Liu De, co-founder of the brand itself, recently confirmed during a press conference, but the details are much more interesting.

According to the analyst, the energy consumption of this smartwatch Xiaomi would be “similar to that of connected objects of Garmin.” As an indication, the American specialist onboard navigation a battery life of three weeks to VivoActive his watch. Suffice to say that we should not expect to see the presence of Android Wear above, consumption of which does not allow any far shown to exceed the few days between charges.

Finally, Pan Jiutang is fairly cryptic by asking his followers on Weibo, the Chinese social network, what would be the ideal price for this watch. He then made two proposals which are 999 yuan (135 euros) and 1,599 yuan (215 euros). Some see this as an indication pointing to the possible existence of two alternative proposals respectively at these prices. An assumption that we will not hasarderons us forward.

Anyway, we should be fixed “shortly” at best, or by the end of the year at the latest.
